Danceteria was a legendary nightclub in New York City and one of the most influential cultural crossroads of the 1980s. More than just a dance club, it was a vibrant hub where music, fashion, art, film, and performance collided, helping define the creative energy of downtown Manhattan.
Operating in several locations, its most iconic home opened in 1982 at 30 West 21st Street.
